Title Mortality, cancer incidence, and sickness absence in photographic processors: an epidemiologic study

Abstract Report of an epidemiological investigation of a 1964 cohort of 478 photographic processors in 9 colour print and processing laboratories. The workplace, processs and exposures are described and industrial hygiene data are given for chemicals used in the photographic processing operations. There was no significant excess mortality, sickness absence or cancer incidence. The processing cohort's mortality experience after 16 years of follow-up compared favourably with that of 2 industrial control populations.
