Abstract This research report on the humanisation of work defines required conditions and climate chamber tests for the design of a complete rescue suit with an incorporated cooling system, which can be worn together with a closed-circuit breathing apparatus. Appended: report of a study on restrictions of movement and physiological factors (body temperature, heart rate, subjective comfort) associated with wearing this type of protective clothing.
