| Abstract |
Comparison of several methodological parameters in unprepared workers (exposure to solvents and to cutting fluids) and in prepared controls free from any skin disorder (256 subjects in all): variations of the method, as used by different authors (test site, duration, criteria for stopping the test, evaluation). Evaluation of the results emphasised mainly: criteria for stopping the test, reproducibility from one subject to another, influence of pipette used, test site, previous washing, right or left hand. The influence of occupational exposure and skin hardening (desensitisation) on the results was studied in the light of existing literature. |
