| Abstract |
This guide gives information on the legislation concerning, and organisation of, the social labour inspectorate in Poland, and on the powers and duties of the inspectors (who are appointed by the workers) in the commerce and cooperatives sector. Advice on occupational safety and health techniques, legal liability in the case of non-observance of safety regulations, organisational principles for accident investigations, workmen's compensation, etc. Appended: list of regulations currently in force, tables of air temperatures in workplaces, mean illumination levels in industrial premises, and principal causes of accidents. |
