Title A method for monitoring the fertility of workers - 2. Validation of the method among workers exposed to dibromochloropropane.
Bibliographic information Mar. 1981, Vol.23, No.3, p.183-188. 4 ref.
Abstract For part 1 see CIS 81-464. The techniques developed were applied to 36 male pesticide manufacturing workers. 12 of them had severely depressed sperm counts related to occupational exposure. The standardised fertility ratio was significantly lower during the period at risk, and also than in other areas of the factory. Surveillance would have detected the loss of fertility in these workers.
