| Abstract |
A case report of a man who went into cardiac shock during an operation for duodenal ulcer is presented. At necropsy he had changes resembling those seen in cobalt cardiomyopathy and his myocardial Co level was grossly abnormal. His work had involved handling powdered Co in the manufacture of hard-metal cutting bits. |
