Abstract Rats inhaled 4.6, 0.43 and 0.003mg/m3 throughout gestation. The 2 higher concentrations caused functional disturbances in the mother animals and affected embryogenesis and foetal development. A concentration of 0.003mg/m3 had no toxic effects and did not impair embryogenesis. An exposure limit of 0.03mg/m3 is recommended.
