Title Myglobin levels in the serum and urine in patients with vibration disease - Relation between haptoglobin and myoglobin.
Bibliographic information Jan. 1980, Vol.28, No.1, p.19-24. Illus. 18 ref.
Abstract Serum and urinary myoglobin and serum haptoglobin levels were slightly higher in 60 patients with vibration disease than in healthy controls. There was no significant relation between haptoglobin levels and either severity or duration of work with the chain saw. Patients with Raynaud's phenomenon had higher haptoglobin levels than those without. There was no relation between the haemoglobin and myoglobin levels.
