Title Increased frequency of chromosome aberrations in workers exposed to styrene.
Bibliographic information Dec. 1979, Vol.5, No.4, p.333-335. 12 ref.
Abstract The incidence of chromosome aberrations in peripheral blood lymphocytes was twice as high in 6 workers from a plant manufacturing polyester resin boats as in matched controls. In addition to styrene, the workers were exposed to phthalic acid anhydride, maleic acid anhydride, propylene glycol, methyl ethyl ketone peroxide, a cobalt salt, and acetone. Styrene levels of the workroom air were 50-400mg/m3.
