Abstract |
A worker with strong Cr sensitivity handling freshly printed paper with inks containing Cr suffered severe hand dermatitis. A solution of 10% ascorbic acid applied to his hands during the work day reduced the active hexavalent Cr to the inactive trivalent form. This inexpensive, easy-to-use method resulted in speedy recovery of the dermatitis. |
