Title Occupational radiation exposure in nuclear power plants in Japan
Bibliographic information 15 Aug. 1978, Vol.26, No.8, p.439-443. 4 ref.
Abstract There are 20 nuclear power plants operating in Japan. This paper gives recent occupational exposure statistics, and discusses problems of occupational exposure control. Individual exposure level is fairly well controlled below the occupational dose limit (5 rem/yr). The collective dose (man-rem) is however increasing. The collective dose from maintenance and repair of the nuclear power plants is much larger than the dose from routine operation.
