Bibliographic information May 1979, Vol.40, No.5, p.395-401. 21 ref.
Abstract This highly controversial article with political implications deals with the subtle immediate effects of exposure to ionising radiation in terms of managing the technology; the long-term health situation of workers; and broader questions raised by the present health monitoring system, which is considered to be inadequate. Suggestions are made for more sophisticated monitoring, with considerations of the effects on workers' families.
