This report contains communications on: late awakening of the Welfare State (Danielson G.) - a commentary on reformative legislative developments in the field of occupational safety and health (CIS 79-296); activities of the factory inspection department and recent directives (Westlin A.); 140 research projects undertaken in the occupational medicine department (Lundgren N.) covering chemical and physical hazards, and training of research workers; role of the Labour Inspectorate in the improvement of the working environment (von Kraemer C.G.); approval tests by the National Board of Occupational Safety and Health (Lindh G.); establishment of TLVs (Holmberg B.). Lists of directives, research results and reports published in 1977, statistical data on inspection activities, and administrative organigrams are appended. |
