Abstract This book is the result of an international seminar on industrial stress held in Windsor, United Kingdom, in 1970. Aspects of work stress ranging from the manager's career problems to stress on the factory floor are analysed. Experience from several countries is gathered to show how industrial stress can be tackled at organisation, trade union and national levels. The book can also help doctors to recognise and treat stress illnesses.
