| Abstract |
Description of an exhaust system for dust (especially iron oxides) formed during unrolling of wire-bar coils, during entry of the wire bar into the guide cone, and during straightening in the rotary drum of the machine. Laboratory studies permitted the choice of enclosure design for the straightening drum, and of the local exhaust system incorporating a cyclone and filter dust collector. Technical data are given on the exhaust system and collection efficacy. |
