| Abstract |
This article reviews past and present trends in French law regarding legal liability in occupational safety and health matters, taking stock of the present-day situation, with particular reference to the Act of 6 Dec. 1976 to promote occupational accident prevention (CIS 77-899) and decided cases. Considerations on third-party liability, criminal law aspects, penalties, and consequences in the case of accidents due to failure to observe the law. |
