This standard concerns the safety and ergonomic design of mechanical equipment used for pipelaying (lorries for transport of pipes and asphalt, cleaning and asphalting machines, welding equipment, asphalt melting kettles, pipe bending machines, etc.). Contents: general safety provisions (lightening the work, safety colours, etc.); stipulations concerning the safety of mechanical elements, design and layout of controls, layout of the workplace, brakes, protective devices, means of access, lighting; stipulations concerning the various types of vehicles and machinery; supervision of compliance. |
