Modern cranes with telescopic jibs present more hazards than conventional ones. The crane driver cannot be continuously aware of the exact weight of the load and the crane's position. The author presents an electronic load-moment limiting device based on the principle of analogous comparison of electric magnitudes (theoretical and real values), which cuts off the crane controls as soon as the load reaches a predetermined limit value. |
