Abstract Results of analysis of air samples from workplaces where assemblies are soldered with a lead-tin alloy. At modern workplaces equipped with exhaust ventilation lead concentrations exceeded the USSR threshold value of 0.01mg/m3 in only 19% of cases. When there was no local exhaust system, on the other hand, lead concentrations were up to 10 times the threshold limit value.
