Abstract Review of zoonoses (considered as diseases transmissible from animals to man) in order of importance: tuberculosis, brucellosis, Q fever, milker's nodule, cutaneous anthrax, erysipeloid, salmonellosis, leptospirosis, ornithosis, toxoplasmosis, listeriosis, tularaemia, tick-transmitted encephalitis and parasite diseases. The article considers the question principally from the aspects of epidemiology, clinical picture and experts' reports.
