The equipment described is designed both to prevent the passage of electric current through the body and to afford protection against the thermal effects and flying particles resulting from an electric arc. Detailed discussion of the equipment to be worn for low voltage (gloves, helmet, face shield and protective clothing, insulating blankets or sections) and high voltage (insulating screens). |
