Abstract |
This guide is based on the British standard code of practice on wind loads and is designed to offer a simple method of assessing the wind forces exerted on a scaffolding. It tabulates the wind pressure per metre of tube broadside on to the wind for sites in different localities and for structures of different heights. It also provides data for sites with shelter and low risk, and for sites with high exposure and high risk. Similar data for sheeted structures are also given. |
