| Abstract |
Describes and comments on 2 cases of extrinsic allergic alveolitis of occupational origin due to contact with domestic fowl (pigeons, chickens) and wet hay, respectively. Case history is most important in reaching a diagnosis, the radiological image being atypical and often almost imperceptible. This article emphasises the need, when interstitial alveolar lesions are observed, for considering the eventuality of extrinsic allergic alveolitis, for the purposes of differential diagnosis. |
