Abstract |
This standard which was approved on 18 May 1972 and entered into force on 1 Apr. 1973, lays down safety rules (including fire safety) for the protection of humans, animals and implements when electrical equipment is being installed or used. Summary: supply and distribution (substations, junctions, etc.); establishing distribution networks (provisional electrical equipment, fittings, 2- and 3-phase circuits etc.); dimensioning; protection against accidental contact; design, conversion and maintenance of equipment. A classification of agricultural undertakings, a classification of farms according to their needs as regards electric power, and information concerning safe distances are appended. |
