Title Detection of chemical mutagens by the dominant lethal assay in the mouse.
Bibliographic information Oct. 1972, Vol.23, No.2, p.288-325. Illus. 20 ref.
Abstract Data are given on 174 agents (including pharmaceuticals, industrial chemicals, carcinogens, food additives, pesticides, air and water pollutants) tested in the modified dominant lethal assay. The range in variability of various reproductive parameters is analysed in concurrent control populations. Based on these analyses, standard criteria for the evaluation of dominant lethal assay data are developed.
