| Abstract |
In a chemical plant, 2 comparable groups of 124 employees each were cross-investigated during 2 separate, 8-week safety contests. There was no statistically demonstrable relationship between accident occurrence and participation in the contests (each member in the winning team was awarded a prize valued at US-$15). |
