This guide is to assist instructors in enabling miners to increase their knowledge of coal mine ventilation practices and to maintain adequate face ventilation in accordance with their ventilation plan. It is in 4 parts: suggestions to the instructor; introduction to the course; text of course; and visual aids. The course is supplemented by a questions and answers section, an instructor's course evaluation form, and 3 short appendices. The 32 visual aids are available in various forms (slides, flip charts, etc.). |
