| Abstract |
Adopted on 16 December 2008, the new European Regulation 2008/1272/EC on the classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures came into force on 20 January 2009. This Regulation, better known as the CLP (Classification, Labelling and Packaging of substances and mixtures) Regulation, has an impact on various provisions directly or indirectly concerning dangerous substances and preparations. This article summarizes the main impacts of this new Regulation. |
