Abstract Components of industrial lubricants seldom cause allergic contact dermatitis. This study describes the cases of two patients with allergic reactions to 2,5-dimercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole contained in metalworking lubricants and a case of allergy to phenyl-α-naphtylamine in grease.
