Abstract This report presents the findings of the fourth survey commissioned by the Health and Safety Executive to investigate occupational safety and health information made publicly available by enterprises in the United Kingdom. Items investigated include: level of reporting in websites, annual reports and other publicly available documents (including safety and health reports, social responsibility reports and sustainable development reports) of 300 enterprises employing more than 250 employees; issues reported in terms of safety and health performance and targets; comparison of the level of safety and health reporting between industries; comparison of the level of safety and health reporting between enterprises participating in this survey and in previous surveys; identifying examples of good practice with respect to reporting.
