Abstract Employers with hazardous chemicals in their workplaces are required to prepare and implement a written hazard communication program. This includes ensuring that all containers are labelled, employees are provided with access to material safety data sheets and an effective training program is conducted for all potentially exposed employees. This CD-ROM contains software to guide the person responsible for writing a hazard communication plan through the various steps involved in its preparation. The software is also downloadable from the NIOSH web site.
