Original title Système de gestion de la SST - Une norme canadienne [in French]
Bibliographic information June 2007, Vol.23, No.2, p.40-44. Illus. 8 ref.
Abstract Since 1999, there has been a proliferation of standards on occupational safety and health (OSH) management systems. Following an overview of the main existing OSH management systems, namely ANSI Z10, OHSAS 18001 and ILO-OSH 2001 (see CIS 02-162), this article describes the efforts undertaken in view of developing a Canadian standard in this area. These efforts have led to the publishing of the CSA Z1000-06 standard, which came into effect in 2006. The main specific features of this standard are discussed.
