Abstract |
This leaflet describes the efforts undertaken by OSHA to provide safety and health support to workers involved in demolition work at the World Trade Center disaster site. Support was provided for the following specific hazards: cranes; heavy equipment; falls and falling objects; explosions; hot steel; refrigerant storage tanks; work in confined spaces. It was found that there was a need for improvements in the area of emergency response, emergency training and transportation. |
