Abstract The purpose of this booklet is to offer guidance for the evaluation and prevention of occupational hazards in the hospitality sector. It is aimed at the managers of the premises as well as at workers and their representatives. It addresses the five steps of the prevention approach: preparation; hazard evaluation; definition of the action plan; implementation of the action plan; evaluation of the approach. Appendices include the main French laws and regulations, together with examples of checklists and forms for hazard evaluation.
