| Abstract |
Brominated flame retardants are used in electronic appliances and textiles. They are detected in the environment and in breast milk in increasing concentrations. Their persistence is a matter of concern and poses a potential problem similar to that of polychlorinated biphenlys (PCBs). This report discusses these issues and future trends.
