Title Heliobacter pylori infection: A global occupational risk for healthcare workers?

Abstract This literature review on the occupational risks from Helicobacter pylori, a major cause of gastroduodenal diseases, was carried out to identify the risks to specific groups of healthcare workers. The risks were found to be highest for gastroenterologists, certain categories of nurses and workers caring for persons with mental disability. Results for other groups are not conclusive.
