Abstract This guidance sheet describes methods for controlling exposure to harmful chemicals in hairdressing salons and provides advice for employers (including franchisees and the self-employed) on compliance with the requirements of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 (see CIS 03-1023).
