Report prepared for the 288th Session of the ILO Governing Body, Committee on Employment and Social Policy, November 2003. It explains how the global HIV/AIDS pandemic threatens the decent work agenda and the ILO's strategic objectives and describes the ILO response to the challenge of HIV/AIDS in the world of work since 1999. Highlights the role of the ILO Code of Practice on HIV/AIDS and the world of work (see CIS 03-444) and outlines future challenges. |
