| Abstract |
With the expected implementation of the REACH (registration, evaluation and authorization of chemicals) programme in 2007, it is necessary to harmonize European classification and labelling systems for hazardous chemicals. This article describes the current situation concerning efforts undertaken at the French and European levels with respect to the classification and labelling of chemicals hazardous to human health, and presents examples of label layouts according to proposals currently being studied. |
