| Abstract |
This guide provides advice for trade unions on the use of the ILO Code of Practice on HIV/AIDS and the world of work (see CIS 03-444) and the education and training manual on the implementation of the Code (see CIS 04-270). It outlines the potential impact of the disease on trade unions and their members and highlights the need to develop a trade union policy and to stimulate action by mobilizing trade union networks and by working with employers, the government and others. |
