Abstract The objective of the project was to explore the use of information and knowledge management in the organization of occupational safety and health within the enterprise. After a presentation of current research in this area, the role that knowledge management can play in forward-looking organizations that seek continuous improvement and development is explained. Existing practical solutions supporting the management of information in occupational safety and health, software tools and information available on the Internet are analysed and evaluated.
