| Abstract |
This study discusses trends in the financial costs of occupational accidents in Spain between 1998 and 2001 in three major sectors: industry, construction and services. Findings show that annual losses due to occupational accidents increase year by year in all three sectors. However, the average costs of incapacitation show a decrease, which indicates a decrease in accident severity rates. |
