Abstract |
Physiotherapists are important stakeholders in the field of injury management. As part of their training, final-year students from the University of South Australia spend time in industry placements undertaking occupational safety and health (OSH) projects which are focused on injury prevention. To ensure the ongoing availability of such placements, it is suggested that universities work closely with host organizations to meet their needs and to ensure that the benefits of having students outweigh the costs involved. This article presents a framework for host organizations to evaluate undergraduate physiotherapy student OSH placements. |
