Abstract This document describes and analyses the anthropometric characteristics of the Spanish working population that are useful for the ergonomic design of machinery, equipment and workplaces. Three population subsets were considered; men, women and a mixed gender population. Measurements are provided for sitting and standing postures, specific parts of the body and functional aspects.
