Abstract Employers must keep records of accidents and have to provide an accident book in which employees or people acting on their behalf can enter details of the accident leading to injury. Besides accident record sheets, useful information is provided for employers and employees on what they have to do in the case of accidents or injuries at work, on how to use the forms and on the benefits of keeping accident records. A summary of the law on RIDDOR (see CIS 96-146) is also provided.
