| Abstract |
Effects reported following accidental exposure to mucochloric acid include damage to the skin, dyspeptic complaints, mild enlargement of the liver and alteration of biochemical parameters. Animal experiments show that the substance is harmful to toxic upon acute oral administration. It is also corrosive to rabbit skin and mutagenic in in vitro tests. |
