Title Cohort cancer incidence among pulp and paper mill workers in British Columbia
Bibliographic information Apr. 2001, Vol.27, No.2, p.113-119. 33 ref.
Abstract In a cohort of male pulp and paper workers in British Columbia (Canada), 1756 cancer cases were observed in the period 1950-1992. The results of the analysis suggest that long-term work in the pulp and paper industry is associated with excess risks of prostate and stomach cancers and all leukaemias for work in workers engaged in both the kraft and the sulfite processes, and of rectal cancer for work in the sulfite process only.
