Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina drew attention to the issue of returnee migrants and expressed her concern for the rights and welfare of the migrant workers, particularly the female workers. She proposed a common platform of both labour receiving and sending countries to resolve the issues of migrant workers. Prime Minister also emphasized on the employment centered development approach as a way out of the present global economic downturn.
