After weeks of having to work from temporary quarters, the staff of the TVET reform and B-SEP projects will soon be moving into new office space in the Gulshan 1 section of Dhaka. The selected building is a substantially sized house that will be leased for an extended period. The lease was signed recently with the owner after passing through security clearance, legal and other checks. Currently the floor plan for locating staff, positioning computer and Internet connections is being fined-tuned. Staff from the skills projects plus staff from one or two other smaller ILO projects will move to the new premises in mid-November. Staff are excited about the move and getting settled there. Contact details for the new office will be shared with stakeholders when all computer systems are in place and working.
