ILO Country Office for Sri Lanka & Maldives calls for proposals from experienced qualified institutions/individuals to undertake preparation of a background and policy paper in consultation with Trade Unions to develop a common position for trade union advocacy based on the subject of “Opportunities/challenges in formation and functioning of Trade Unions with a focus on ILO Convention 87 (Freedom of Association and Protection of the Right to Organise Convention, 1948 & Convention 98 (Right to Organise and Collective Bargaining Convention, 1949).
